Daily Schedule
Students at SSCMS enjoy a seven-period day which includes five academic classes and two connections classes.
The five academic classes include:
- Language Arts
- Reading or World Language
- Math
- Social Studies
- Science
Students participate in two different Connections classes every nine weeks.
These classes include:
- Band*
- Orchestra*
- Broadcasting/Communications
- Engineering/Tech Systems
- Visual Arts
- Health
- General Music
- Physical Education
- AVID (7th & 8th grades)*
*yearlong course
Students participating in a yearlong course will have that course and one other Connections class every nine weeks.
